I will hit 20,000 miles - currently at 19,429).. Then again, I was one of the first to get Automatic.. Since 2014!
Preordered it when I owned an iPhone; during the wait, switched to Samsung (big mistake), had to wait 6 months for port to Android.. Then went back to iPhone when 6plus was announced..
Great product - I ordered a new 2nd gen for my other car last month.. :)

Wow, I'm not even close! I've had my Automatic for about a year and only have a little under 4,000 miles. You folks must have some intense commutes :D

Yep, 45 miles one way, but my job makes it worth it. :)

I was going to say -- either the job or the car better make all that driving worth it! :)

I don't try to far for work, about 4 miles to the bus stop.. Most of the time it's a 4 minute walk, from the shower to my home office.. :) If I had to drive to my office, it would be 42 miles/one way.. :(

Most of my miles are from vacation and leisure travel..

First of all, I LURVE this thread! Thanks for starting it, Nick!  <3

I joined Automatic in May 2013, two months after we launched and right as we were realizing that we were going to miss our promised May shipping date! (Those were good times). Three years and two cars later (one got totaled), I have taken 2800+ trips and have driven so many miles that I broke the Web Dashboard when I selected "all time" from the drop-down. Whoops!  So I have yet to figure out how many miles I've driven. Might have to ask one of my tech support guys to do a backend query for me. ;)

Amy, I believe you were one of the great helps I had back in 2013.. The good old, work out the bugs days..

Automatic has come a long way, it should be built in every new car!

Yes, that was probably me, Sal! I appreciate hearing that. It's a tricky technology and a lot of folks don't realize how far we've come! :)

Here's my trip map. I like to experiment with routes to work because it's easy to compare mileage and time with the commute lab!

25,613 in less than a year of automatic driving. And that's after forgetting the adapter on a 3,000+ miles trip and any stuff I've done in the wife's car.

I've got 41,661 miles logged in 3845 trips.  That's between both of my cars, and doesn't count the first year that I had one of my cars without an Automatic in it that I put about 20k miles on.  I finally broke down and bought a second adapter about a year ago.

That's a lot of hours on the road, Jock! Have you tried recreating any of your trips with the Hyperlapse tool in Dashboard Labs?

Amy, one issue with hyperlapse is it takes one trip at a time. With multiple stops  >15mins from say New York to Maine.. it's impossible to have a continuous lapse. May be in future if there 's a possibility of combining trips from A to B will be awesome plus possibility of night as right now only day hyper lapse is generated.

Good suggestions, Nick. Nightime hyperlapse with street lights and car lights could be a really cool visual!
