Add audio feedback!!! (Original adapters had it)

Add audio feedback!!! The original adapters were very useful by providing immediate and timely feedback on poor drive behaviors. This helped to change my driving style. I have recently upgraded to the Pro and feel that the device is less useful than the original version as the Pro does not have audio feedback. This should be a top priority. If it was removed because someone thought it was not needed, that was a big mistake. Allowing it to be turned on or off via the app would be a better option but please put it back!!!

In a case of not being able to please all the people all the time, I was not a fan of the noise, and happy it's gone, but would agree that if it were to be added back, for sure it would have to be with a software switch in the app to turn it on and off.

True. I'd be curious to take a poll of all Gen 1 & 2 customers on how they feel about the Drive Score & Efficiency Coaching ("beeps"). I'm guessing it would be split down the middle. :)

Yes, and it was eventually a preference in our previous app, although the Drive Score was front & center whether a person liked it or not.  
It was intentionally not built into the new product but that doesn't mean it won't be reintroduced in some fashion. However, if we did, the team would want to build it in a more reliable & robust way that was less likely to trigger false hard events. A lot of folks complained that they felt the threshold / trigger was too sensitive.

Thanks for the feedback, richteel. As Bill mentioned above, not everyone loved that feature. In fact a lot of people felt as passionately as you, but in the opposite direction. :) 

With the new product, our intention has been to bring that kind of feedback in as "Insights" and we've intentionally moved it from being front & center in the experience. We hope to continue to bring more insights into the product but I'm not sure where we stand on the Efficiency Coaching aspect at this point. I'll share your feedback with the Product team, though!

Thanks Amy. In addition, I am sure there are a fair number of these devices installed in a car for tracking purposes and crash alerts and not for training purposes. Plus if a car is stolen, no reason to alert the thief that they are not driving safely so they can remove the device. There are probably as many people and reasons to have the tones as there are people and reasons not to have it.
