I've been trying to use my driving data with Watson Analytics, and have found the data in the .csv file to be a bit lacking.  Is the CSV file currently showing all the possible data points that the automatic is logging?  Either way, here are a few data points that would be very helpful for me:

1. Outside temperature (possible start temp, end temp as separate columns)
2. Starting odometer reading
3. Ending odometer reading

Additionally, it would be nice to even have a dialog where we could check off the data points we'd want to include in the file.  For example the path and and address isn't useful to me and the vehicle is redundant.

Automatic can't read the odometer. Just do a search and you'll find a half a dozen threads about why that is. If you want odometer, you're going to have to calculate it yourself.

Thanks for the idea, Shawn! As Unsantae mentioned above, odometer data isn't available via the OBD port, so adding this data to the .CSV filed isn’t possible at this time. Having said that, we have plans to develop an odometer feature in order to accommodate for this. There isn't an ETA though.

We're also planning to add all 99 SAE engine PIDs to our Streaming SDK in the near future, which means that various temperature readings will be available for third party apps such as DashCommand and OBD Fusion. Here’s a link to the related post.

I'll be sure to pass along the request for adding these new PID readings to the .CSV file.
