Firstly, I LOVE "Automatic" and the app.  It should be standard in every vehicle!

A few suggestions though:

1. I'd like to set my own "Maximum MPH" instead of having the default to 70mph.  I live in an area where 70mph is the legal limit; so I'm getting dinged for driving legally.  If I could just bump that up to 75mph, I would be so happy.  :-)

2. I don't really understand how the fuel cost is determined. I'd like a way to enter how much I paid per gallon of gas during a fill up.  That way I could get a completely accurate cost.  Right now the costs Automatic is reporting doesn't mean anything because it's never right.

3. I'd love to categorize trips (Business, errands, etc).  It's like establishing a budget.  If I can see where I'm spending my driving miles, I may be able to determine where I can cut cost/driving.

Thanks! Keep up the good work!

Hi Bob. Welcome to the community! Thanks so much for your post and your praise. I'm really glad to hear you're loving Automatic. It sounds like you're using our Gen 2 adapter and original app, which includes Efficiency Coaching and personal Drive Score. (Our newest product does not include these features.)

I've got some FAQs to share with you to shed some light on the features you mentioned in points 1 & 2.

1. Here's a FAQ about adjusting the threshold for when you're alerted. If you want to use the alert as a speeding warning rather than fuel efficiency coaching, this would be the way to do that:
This FAQ explains why the Drive Score is still impacted by speed you drive:

2. Here are some FAQs about how we calculate the cost of a trip:
how we get the fuel price:
and how you can change your default fuel grade to get closer to the actual price you paid:

Thanks for all the great feedback!
