Can crash alert be turned back on after disabling it?
after confusion in setting up the crash alert the wrong number was put for the vehicle owner and we couldn't find the option to change it. we assumed disabling it then re-enabling it would re-prompt the setup, but this appears to not be the case.

please explain how to re-enable

Hi David. Yes, you can enable / re-enable Crash Alert at any time. With a recent app update, with Automatic Pro you can also now add any Crash Alert Primary Contact number you want or update it at any time. Tap "Glovebox" in the bottom menu then tap "Crash Alert". You can then enable it and add/edit any phone numbers / Contacts.

you MUST add this button to "Settings->Crash Alert". I spent DAYS without it enabled because all i could find was "Disable Crash Alert". For this feature to be USED it must be DISCOVERABLE. People think to look in "Settings", most certainly not "Glove Box". Please make an update that ALSO puts the "enable" button under "settings"

it's not me, it's for the zillions of other people who LOOK in preferences, see that it can't be done, and give up.

I don't have a glove box option in the automatic Pro app. I have no way of editing or adding contacts and I cannot read an able crash alert which I inadvertently disabled trying to figure out how to edit and add contacts. I think the app needs a full redesign.

Hi Steve,

The Glovebox tab is at the bottom of the first screen when you open the Automatic app. If you don't see it there, please email a screenshot to help@automatic.com so we can investigate.

I'll say it again: when i think of changing my crash alert settings, i think "settings->crash alert".  exactly zero people will think "oh i'll look in my glove box for that".  just sayin'
