Automatic Pro Nest Integration - "broken" for Nestcams?

I used to use Automatic Pro's Nest integration to turn on my Nest cams when I drove away from home and turn them off when I returned home, i.e. use the location of the Automatic Pro adapter to determine Home/Away. This was working very well, but has stopped working now.

I don't have a Nest thermostat (ecobee user!), so I don't have an alternative Nest product to see if only Nestcam support is "broken" or if the Nest integration isn't working anymore.

Any thoughts on this?

Hi Ashok - We don't have a direct integration with Nest Cam. Are you using something else to connect Automatic with your Nest Cam? Can you elaborate more on what it was you were doing before that was working for you? No one I've talked to here knows anything about connecting Automatic to a Nest Cam. Thanks.

Sorry, I wasn't making myself clear. Through its Nest integration, Automatic permitted me to set Nest Home and Nest Away based on where I turned my cars ignition on & off (see attached screen cap - my address is greyed out).

My Nest rule for Home would turn my Nest Cams off and my Nest rule for Away would turn my Nest Cams on. That no longer works - i.e. while Home & Away can be set using Automatic, my Nest Cams no longer turn off/on based on those Nest rules.

I called Nest Support. They have disabled that capacity. So now Home & Away set by Automatic (or other Nest integrations, like Wink) will only be applied to thermostats and Nest Protect - but not cameras.

Also received an email from Wink that explains the situation.

So this is a Nest decision about Home/Away for a specific product - nothing that can be done at the Automatic end ....

Ok, thanks for clarifying and for following up with Nest.
