Hi,
I recently bought Automatic Pro. I had my first trip on March-13th and the automatic app/dashboard is showing the trip details. However, I had my 2nd trip today, Mar 17th, but the app/dashboard is not showing the trip details. The app shows that the car was parked on Mar-17, but It don't show any trip details, like from where to where I drove. Is this an issue with my adapter?

Hi RP. Welcome to Automatic and our support community! Sorry for the rough start.

I had Tech Support look at your account and they see that your first trip of the day on 3/17 loaded in about two hours late but that all subsequent drives since then look good. Have you had any other trips not show up at all or not show up on time since then?

While Automatic Pro usually works as expected and shows a trip occurring in real time, there are a few factors out of our control that can cause a trip to not display live tracking or show up immediately. For this reason, we've designed the adapter to have a (limited) storage capacity so that what it pulls from your OBD port can be stored and processed into a trip once it's able to connect to our servers. Please take a look at the following FAQs for more information:

What happens if there is no cellular coverage while using Automatic Pro?

My phone shows I have cellular coverage, why isn’t the Automatic Pro adapter connecting to the cellular network?

Why does my trip not show up right away in Automatic Pro?

What happens when my adapter gets reconnected after driving around without being connected for a time?

If you ever find that you're consistently not capturing trips in real-time or even that intermittent issues are ongoing over a period of time, there could be something else going on that indicates a bug, a wide-spread issue, or an issue with your specific adapter in which case Tech Support would want to dig into any of those scenarios to investigate so please don't hesitate to reach out.
