Automatic 1.0.3 was released this morning and is available in the App Store now. The big news is that it contains Crash Alert beta. It includes the following important improvements over 1.0.2:

  • Crash Alert is enabled for everyone whose Link firmware supports it (v0.7.6 & above)

  • Improved memory management in the background

  • Fixed "Currently driving..." showing for too long sometimes after ending a drive in the background

  • Many UI fixes

  • Many crashes fixed

At this time there are no known issues in 1.0.3.

You can read more about Crash Alert in our blog. And be sure to update your app!

Update: We've discovered two bugs in this release of Crash Alert:

  • App sometimes crashes when adding Emergency Contacts

  • In some cases, Crash Alert disappears after setting it up

  • Both of these bugs have been addressed in a hot fix that was submitted to the App Store. We're just awaiting approval. Apologies for any temporary inconvenience in the meantime!
