Best way to share a vehicle and not log hours on the non-teen driver

Our family is using one vehicle. When our son drives, it uses the app on his phone. When he is not driving, we are wondering do we just have him log out of the app whenever he is not driving? Or do we pull the adapter out and have him log out? We do not want to log our driving miles on his log when he is riding as a passenger.

Hi Candie,

You can safely unplug the adapter when your son is not driving or is a passenger, and replug it when he is driving. Just make sure the car is turned off when doing so.I hope this helps!
