What are thresholds that trigger hard brake or hard acceleration (Pro Model)?

Does app or dashboard show max speed during a trip, or only time spent over 70MPH? In other words, would driving 45 in a 30 be detectable?

Hi Josh,

The Pro adapter and app do not include Efficiency Coaching and hard event alerts the way that the Classic app does. The Web Dashboard will show these events since they're still ingested on the server-side but the speeding data there is based on minutes driving over 70MPH for a given trip.

On the "Insights" tab of the app for Pro, however, you'll see Weekly stats which will display some similar data such as the average number of hard brakes and accelerations per 100 miles driven and the percentage of time spent driving under or over the speed limit. Here, the speed limit is based on actual speed limit data from the roads that were driven.

Hard brakes & accelerations are calculated by detecting ~8-10 KPH change in one second.
