My wife and I each have an automatic and I'm curious if there is a way we could give the other access to see the data without sharing a single account?

Hi Kevin. Which adapter are you using? If you're on Gen 1 or 2, the only way to share your data is to give each other your login info so you can each view the other's account. You could do this on the Web Dashboard if you don't want to log in and out of the app.

I can share some FAQs with you about multi-user scenarios once I know which adapter you're on.

Hi Amy, we both have the newest Pro adapter.  I believe that makes it a 2nd generation but they're definitely the Pro.

Thank you.

Ok, thanks, Kevin. 2nd gen is not the same as Pro. It was the Bluetooth-only adapter that was launched in May 2015. Pro was launched in August 2016. Here's a FAQ about the different adapters we've released.

Since you both have Pro and if you both want full access to each other's accounts, the best way to do that is to share one account and have both cars set up on that account. You can both log into that account from your app. The Pro is vehicle-centric rather than driver-centric, so it doesn't matter who's driving what car. All trips will get logged to the account over 3G and you can toggle between the two cars in your app to see the live tracking data, trip data, Insights and other car-specific features. A thing to understand about Pro is that only one user account can be set up on any given Pro. If you've already each set up on your respective adapters with your own accounts, we'll have to delete one of those associations for you if you want to share an account for both cars. Tech Support will have to help you with that via email, so please let me know if that's what you'd like to do.

Here are some FAQs that may further explain how car sharing works with Pro:

I hope that helps!
