We do not support the use of the Automatic connected car adapter with a device splitter or running it in conjunction with another OBD-II device.

Our adapter performs a set of functions that are unique and thus can't be compared to your generic off-the-shelf OBD reader. It needs to communicate with your car in ways that most other devices don't. There is no telling what could happen to your car if you use our product with another OBD device. There would be an excessive use of bandwidth and it's possible both devices would try to talk to the same node at the same time. At best, things just wouldn't work right -- we wouldn't be able to receive the data we need to make the product work properly or the data being requested could go to the wrong device. At worst, it could damage your car or cause dangerous behavior in your car. Additionally, it's unlikely that our Crash Alert feature would work properly.
