Car Nickname or Year not available in IFTTT

I have 2 F-150 trucks. One is a 2005 and the other is a 2006. In the app, and on the dashboard I can distinguish which is which. But using the IFTTT integration it looks like only the base name of the vehicle is sent. Renaming it in the app does not affect the IFTTT vehicle name and the year is not part of the name. Obviously if I'm trying to filter things in a Google Spreadsheet created by IFTTT, I can't filter to one vehicle. Any chance of using getting the nickname or year added to the list of ingredients there? Is there another integration built out I can use that has either of these?

Hi Brian,

Thanks for checking in, unfortunately that isn't currently possible, but I think it's a great idea! I will mark this as an idea, so people can chime in with their thoughts.

As I read over these feature requests, the consistent response is that Automatic does have the resources available.  It has become clear that Automatic must only have a very few or perhaps only a single developer working on the software.   There apparently not been any recent improvements to the software in a long time.  This further confirms my suspicion.  I think I read somewhere where Automatic was acquired almost a year ago by SiriusXM.  I would have hoped they would then have the funding to increase the number of resources working on the product.  However, it appears there has been little movement.  This doesn't bode well for the future of this product.

Hi Brian,

While we greatly appreciate the feedback, posting the same response over and over again to different old posts is not helpful to the Community. We understand your point of view and would appreciate it if you would create new posts instead of replying to old ones. Thanks!
