Changing cars

Derrick,
We have replaced our daughter's car that was in a wreck a few weeks ago and I am having trouble getting the Automatic app to update the VIN and switch to the new vehicle. I can see the new vehicle when it starts, stops and can track it on the app. I have gone through the steps several times without success. Also, periodically I have gotten a low battery warning. Could that be the cause? This is a used vehicle and the battery is over 4 years old. Will get that checked out this week to make sure it will not leave her stranded.

If you're getting the low battery warning, that could definitely be the reason why you're having a hard time with Setup. Once you get the battery changed or checked, let us know if you still are having issues. Email help@automatic.com, thanks!

I was able to set up after battery had charged due to driving car for about 2 hours. Battery checked okay today. All is good. Happy New Year!
