Visiting my father this weekend. We went for a drive and Dad's 96 4Runner was running rough, lit up a check engine light, we guessed spark plug misfiring.

So. On our way back home, we went by auto-zone. Bought new plugs.

When we got home, I pulled the Automatic Link out from my Acura and plugged in his 4Runner. Cranked the engine. Didn't add a new vehicle or anything, just plug and crank left it configured for Acura.

Detected error right away, and reported I think P0303 giving the details as cylinder #3 misfire and let me clear the engine light.

He was impressed. I know what he's getting for xmas!

Hi Adam,

Thanks for letting us know! We're glad you're enjoying Automatic; I hope your dad likes his Christmas present!

Thanks,
Nicole

It's a nice feature to have but I was wondering what codes are we UNABLE to clear? Your literature is somewhat vague on that aspect. Thanks.
