Difficulty connecting to fresh books with automatic.

I am trying to connect my fresh books account with my automatic account.  I am unable to authorize my fresh books account. I don't know if I have the correct fresh books company url. When I put in my.freshbooks.com it takes me to my fresh books account, but it is not linking to my automatic account. Any thoughts?

I've put in a request to a server engineer but in the meantime, have you seen these FAQs? Please give them a look and let me know if that helps you.

Hi Amy,
Thanks for replying.  I am still unable to integrate fresh books with Automatic. I keep running into the same issue. I was wondering however if I was having issues because my fresh books account is a free trial and not a standard subscription. Your thoughts?

Hi. I'm still waiting to hear back from our server engineer who's got it on his list of things to look into. :) But I do wonder if the free trial could be the issue? Have you reached out to Freshbooks customer support about it? I'm curious what they think. I found their contact page here.  If you find that's the cause, please do let me know and I'll update our support content. If that's not the cause, though, we'll continue forward with looking into it!

Hello,
I made contact with fresh books customer service.They told me that the recently rolled out fresh books is not compatible with Automatic yet. They instructed me to sign up with fresh books classic since that is what is compatible with Automatic. I am in the process of converting my fresh books account to classic. If you don't hear from me then all is well.

There is now no longer any way for a new user to use Freshbooks Classic. Hence, there is no longer integration with Freshbooks. Resorting to Xero.
