Rather than repeating common "wisdom" on driving habits, can performance profiles be correlated with fuel economy and shared with owners of similar vehicles. For instance, 1st generation Prius hybrid owners learned through community correspondence that brisk acceleration results in improved fuel economy based on the theory that the most efficient operating RPM is in the mid-range. Can that be verified?
