Expensing to Concur

I have already previously connected my Automatic and Concur accounts. I can verify this connection in both Automatic and Concur accounts independently.

Now I am ready to expense a recent business trip. From what I can read, I need to go to concur.automatic.com (rather than the standard automatic dashboard or app) to push the expenses to Concur. However, this link is asking me to (again) connect my two accounts.

The problem is I cannot connect from this page as I do not have an external login for Concur. My company utilizes an internal Single Sing-On (SSO) to login to Concur.

How can I log into concur.automatic.com with the existing connection between my two accounts to push these expenses to Concur? Also, when will this be supported by the App? The need to login to a separate website sort of defeats the purpose and convenience.

Hi G Miller. I don't know what the answer is to your question but I'm asking internally here. I'll let you know when I hear back from someone.

Hi G Miller. I heard back from our server engineers and unfortunately, they say that they don't think it will work over SSO. They say SSO is tricky and it sounds like your company would need to be the ones to make a login work with SSO and an integration. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you!

As for your question about Concur being embedded in the App. The idea of our App Gallery is that it's an open API platform so that our product can be extended by these external services. Building it into our native app experience is incredibly expensive and would require a business partnership between our company and any services that wanted to be built into our app.
