Any thought to export trip data (specifically trip times) to iOS Calendar? I'm a Mac consultant and bill clients for my travel time. Automatic is great for logging driving time and miles. It would be great to have it in my iPhone's calendar where I also have my client appointments. Any chance of this feature becoming a reality. I will also try the IFTTT recipe for exporting trip data to a Google spreadsheet in the meantime.

Great device and great software. Thanks, Automatic!

Thanks for the idea Tony! We don't have any plans to export to the iOS calendar but you can use IFTTT to export to Google Calendar, then use that to sync to your iPhone's calendar. You can use the same parameters as you do in the spreadsheet.

Thanks for the idea Tony. The team discussed this idea earlier today and while we're not planning to add this functionality to the app, the web dashboard might come in handy for what you're describing. With the web dashboard, you can export your driving data into a .CSV file :) Check out this FAQ for more details.

If the goal is to be car specific this functionality makes sense. I have a job where chargeback is not needed but in the past I would have loved to bring up and cross link trips into appointments. The alternative would be an app integration with an expense tracking application.

We do have integrations with expense tracking applications, mcaslan. :) http://automatic.com/apps
