Was wondering if fuel level (through Alexa) is supported on my 2014 Scion IQ? I heard you guys can check.

I have an Automatic Pro.

When I checked compatibility on the site, it had NO INDICATION of my car not having fuel level support.

Hi Kian,

Unfortunately Fuel Level through Alexa is not available for the 2014 Scion IQ. This is because your particular vehicle doesn't provide that information via the OBD port. Fuel Level is not a current feature of Automatic Pro. The only reason it works with Alexa is because there is still some legacy coding from previous adapters still in place.

I wish I had better news!

Derrick, I hear therse answers a lot from Automatic where you are saying that Automatic Pro doesn't support something but it works because "..." usually related to Automatic V2 -- to a customer this is 10000% the wrong answer.  Some legacy coding allows fuel level --  support the "legacy coding".  As a software engineer, this answer is bull.  You are saying "we can do it, we did do it, this old code supports it, we aren't doing it anymore" but why?  Doesn't make sense.  The Pro should do everything the V2 does and more, hince the name "Pro".
