Hopefully, you never experience an issue when using Automatic, but if you do, we are here to help :D

When you have a question, concern or issue, our team is dedicated to providing timely support. All our support channels are staffed Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm PT*. We aim to respond as quickly as possible and to do our best to give you a fantastic support experience. No email or new post in the community goes unanswered. However, please be aware that our response times will be a bit slower early in the week as we work our way through the weekend queue on a first come, first served basis.

We also have a robust, vibrant community filled with helpful users, FAQs and other past topics that may be able to assist you in a time of need.

If you do need assistance of any kind, here are a few ways to reach out:
  • Post here in the community or search our FAQs.
  • Email support@automatic.com for general support inquiries.
  • Email help@automatic.com for technical support.
  • Email our Customer Care team via the many "Contact Us" links in the new app for Pro & Lite
  • See our Support page on our main website: https://automatic.com/support for select FAQs, Support Community search, and email form link.
  • We post status updates on Twitter when there’s planned maintenance or unexpected downtime at @AutomaticStatus.
At this time, we cannot offer phone support or in-depth social media support. With the size of our team, our support efforts are more efficiently done via email and this support community. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Bug reports in the Classic app:

With the Gen 1 or Gen 2 adapter, you can also report an issue through the app by going to Settings and selecting Report a Problem. Please note that reporting a problem via the app won't necessarily result in a response from the Customer Care team. However, all the reports are analyzed and used to help us identify bugs. If you need help from someone directly, please post here in the community or send us an email.




*Our Crash Alert monitoring center is a 24/7 service. If you are in a severe accident, you will hear from our monitoring center even outside of our stated support hours.
