I'm as bad as anyone out there at texting while driving, which I think we would all agree is now more dangerous than DWI. This feature would temporarily prevent you from making or receiving calls and texts while the car is in motion. I don't know if the code in iOS and Android would allow that level of control but it would be a great safety feature to add!

What if it's an emergency? Good suggestion, but it would have to be able to get turned off, or controlled to do text message only etc.

We actually have this feature for Android right now. It's tricker on iPhone as Apple keeps pretty strict control over what app developers can do to affect phone functionality. However, we plan to look at ways to bring this optional functionality to the iOS app.

Hi Joseph. You can enable/disable Do Not Disturb from the User Profile menu of the Android app. For more details on how the feature works, please see this FAQ.
