One of the benefits of cellular is that a serious crash will be detected by the adapter even when your phone is not paired or present in the car. This means anyone driving your car is covered by Crash Alert, so long as there is network reception. Our Crash Alert monitoring center will call the phone number that has been set up with the adapter. As Automatic Pro only has one user account per vehicle, even shared cars will have only one “Primary Driver” phone number for Crash Alert. We recommend setting any people who share the car as emergency contacts.
