UPDATE: 01/2018

OBD Fusion is no longer supported with Automatic Pro. The instructions below should still work to set up OBD Fusion, but we're no longer able to provide support for this integration.

For iOS:
Automatic Pro on iOS requires two Bluetooth connections to work with OBDFusion. The (LE) for initial setup and the MFI connection for streaming.

The initial setup process for the iOS Automatic Pro + OBDFusion:
1. Make sure you have correctly set up the Automatic Pro Adapter
2. After installing OBD Fusion on your phone, in the OBD Fusion app, visit settings->preferences->communications->type and set it as Automatic Adapter
3. Open the main menu in the Automatic app, tap "Car Apps"->"SET UP AUTO-CONNECT" under the "Streaming Apps" section and follow the steps.

You will only have to do this the first time you connect the two apps. After that, it should just connect automatically when you drive as long as your phone & adapter have a Bluetooth connection.

For Android:
The initial setup process for the Android Automatic Pro + OBDFusion:
1. Make sure you have correctly setup the Automatic Pro Adapter and the Automatic Pro App reflects a "Driving" state. If the app does not reflect a "Driving" state, this process will not work.
2. Open the OBD Fusion app, go to Settings -> Preferences-> Communications-> Connection Settings and select "Automatic Car Adapter. Staying in the Communications menu go to Automatic Adapter Settings and select "XX-Automatic Pro" from your list of paired BT devices.
3.Tap "Connect" on the OBD Fusion Home screen. Your web browser will open and you will be prompted to authorize OBD Fusion for use with the Automatic Adapter. Enter your Automatic credentials to finish the authorization and return to OBD Fusion.
4. If a communication error occurs, do not be discouraged, simply tap "Reconnect".
5. Once a successful session has been established you can view the "Dashboard" to configure OBD Fusion.

The continued usage process for the Android Automatic Pro + OBDFusion:
1. Start your engine and make sure the Android app reflects a "Driving" state. If the app does not reflect a "Driving" state, this process will not work.
2. Launch the OBD Fusion App and tap "Connect".
3. If a communication error occurs, do not be discouraged, simply tap "Reconnect".
