How does your Diagnostic application compare to the Palmer Performance Engineering iPhone IOS apps or Windows based software?

Thanks for reaching out.

Within the Core Automatic application, we actually don't offer diagnostic data as rich as what Palmer Performance has. However, with the Automatic application and adapter, you are able to connect with various third-party performance streaming applications like OBD Fusion, DashCommand and Harry's Lap Timer. These are currently only available with the iOS application and the 2nd generation Automatic adapter, but we plan to bring support soon for Android 2nd gen Automatic users in the near future.

With that said, we would recommend checking out those applications to see how they compare with the experiences you've had with Palmer. With Automatic, however, you will get more than the performance information from these apps. Our core features, including trip logging/costs, Check Engine Light diagnosis, Crash Alert and third party app integrations like IFTTT, trip expensing and various other integrations are what differentiates Automatic from other OBD-II devices.
