Hi,

I am trying to get list of vehicles via API.
unfortunately I didn't see any field on structure of record to show the name of vehicle.
as a sample this is a vehicle I fetched from api:
{
'active_dtcs': [], 'created_at': '2017-04-26T14:24:12.159000Z', 'display_name': None, 'fuel_grade': 'regular', 'fuel_level_percent': 96.85, 'id': 'C_598d1228d65b2de9', 'make': 'GMC', 'model': 'Yukon XL', 'submodel': 'Denali', 'updated_at': '2017-05-05T21:49:52.392000Z', 'url': 'https://api.automatic.com/vehicle/C_598d1228d65b2de9/', 'year': 2016 }
if you look at the dashboard(https://dashboard.automatic.com/) you will see a combobox on top menu: "Show trips from all my vehicles".
when you open "all my vehicles" combobox you will see list of vehicles name.
in this combobox, I see name of this vehicle as "Gray Yukon XL". but in API result I dont see "Gray". just I see the "Yukon XL".
I want to know how can I get this names(in dashboard combobox) exactly from API result?
I have attached the files and marked the vehicle names I need to fetch from api with red line,

Thanks if you could response me soon.

Regards,

Hi Prolancer: unfortunately the name field you're trying to access (called `nickname`) is not yet in the public API, only the older `display_name` field, which is tied to the Automatic Classic app. `nickname` should be added eventually, but we don't have a date to promise. It won't be soon, as our team is spending efforts on fudnamentals essential to the stability and performance of the system.

Cheers,
Adam
