I changed my vehicle, how do I change my VIN on the Automatic Pro.

I recently purchased a new vehicle, how do I remove my existing car and replace it with the new car using the same Automatic Pro adapter?

Hi, Tim. You just need to select "ADD A VEHICLE" from the main menu and got through Setup on the new car. Please let us know if you have any further questions!

What happens to all the data on the old car? Can I save that in the account as an inactive car?

Was this adapter set up under a different account previously? That would make a difference as each adapter can only be associated with one account at a time. If you're needing to set it up with a different account, we have to remove your old account from it first.

no always been on same account, just new car. Old car is gone, but just want to keep the trips history.

I checked in with Tech Support who say they're in touch with you via email and that you're hitting a strange edge case that they need to discuss with engineering. They are the most equipped to handle your situation and will be back in touch with you via email once they have more information.
