Hello, I am a big fan of Automatic from Seoul, S.Korea.
There are a few users who use Automatic Lite in here thanks to your support team's help.

Unfortunately, I received no more available help for international customers after sending an e-mail to request get help set my VIN up with Automatic Lite yesterday.

I recognized there have been similar cases with my problem before.

The answer was "send an e-mail and get help done".

"Hi there, Carlos. While using Automatic internationally isn't officially supported, if you get hold of an adapter and run into problems during the VIN portion of setup, feel free to email our support team at support@automatic.com, and they can manually bypass this step for you. Be sure to include the year, make and model, and the VIN of your vehicle in your message."

Hope you help me to set my VIN no. as usual.
Best regards.

Official Response
Hello Seungjune,

As you know, Automatic has always only officially been supported in the USA, but from time to time we used to help international customers bypass the VIN input step of setup. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we have changed our policy to no longer manually intervene for customers trying to set up vehicles outside of the United States. Here's why:

First, we are not able to test the Automatic adapter in vehicles outside of the USA, and so we cannot guarantee that it will work reliably.

Second, when we were a small startup, a few international customers weren't a significant support load. But as we look ahead, we cannot support a growing number of international customers.

I'm sorry if this means you can't use Automatic. We hope to support South Korea and the rest of the world some day.

All the best,
Ljuba
