The goal of Automatic has been to unlock the potential of cars all over the world. Since we launched in the U.S. in 2013, Automatic users have racked up hundreds of millions of miles, saved thousands of gallons of fuel, and helped create a vibrant ecosystem of apps defining the connected car.
We want to do more, and that means bringing the best experience to drivers around the world.
After an overwhelming number of people asked when we were bringing Automatic to their country, we opened up our International Beta Program earlier this year. The response was nothing short of amazing, proving that drivers across the globe understand our mission and are excited by the promise of what we're creating together.
In order to deliver the absolute best experience to our users, we're in the process of rebuilding our core app from the ground up. Part of that reconstruction is baking in support for users outside the U.S., and while we're hard at work on a range of fundamental changes, we've decided to close international pre-orders to new participants. While we’re not ready to announce our public international launch yet, we’re trying hard for 2016.
