Is it possible to get all trip data to recreate an auto accident?

I was recently rear ended at an intersection by someone who never hit there brakes.  I'm guessing they were on a phone or something.  He claims I slammed my brakes last minute causing the crash.  I was sitting at the intersection for minutes as other cars passed to my right waiting to turn.  Once hit I moved forward and off the road.  I'm wondering if there is update data showing me sitting there for a set period and then moving?  It would be very helpful.

Unfortunately I don't believe it has the fine grain detail that you would be looking for. If you look at the the map for any particular driving event, it sometimes has gaps that are the result of the sample rate, connectivity, etc. If you were sitting there long enough, it might show the "wait" as a stop or start of a segment of your drive (like A to B to C). Good Luck.

One thing did occur to me. Did your Automatic report a hard acceleration when you were hit? If you made a normal stop and were waiting at a stop sign, then you shouldn't have a hard acceleration unless you got hit. If it shows both, that might be an indication of being hit while already stopped.

Hi Ryan,

Please email support@automatic.com for assistance with this. We can take a look at the trip and see what info is available.
