Is there a way for IFTTT to distinguish between 2 Automatic adapters?

I'd like to use IFTTT to turn down my Nest thermostat when my wife leaves the house.  I go to work every morning, she is home far more often with the kids.  When she leaves, I want to drop the temp 2-3 degrees.  Problem is that the IFTTT channel for Automatic doesn't seem to let me pick which car I'm trying to control from.   Help?

Hi Herbietown,

The behavior you're looking for is very achievable now, just requires the right setup.  IFTTT connects to a single Automatic user account. We then pass IFTTT any events which happen on that account.

Your wife should have her own automatic account. Our adapters support multiple registered users.  If it were like this, when she left the house Automatic would register an event on her account, not yours.  We would send it to her IFTTT account, which would be able to have it's own set of recipes.

Make sense?
