Hello All    My question is kind of how does automatic figure out the fuel cost per gallon. Which I realize is already been discussed but I live on an island where the fuel costs are very high.  Like right now $5.699 a gallon of unleaded, I do have a Toyota 2006 Tacoma which I think doesn't report fuel but I'm not sure.  Is there a way I can change in the app the price of fuel when I fuel up is my question.

Hey Paul,

Thanks for reaching out and for your questions.

I would recommend viewing this FAQ for more information on how fuel costs are calculated. There isn't a way to manually add/change the fuel costs, but you can select the grade of fuel your car uses within your car settings in the app.

It looks like your car doesn't report fuel levels. This is true for about 50-percent of cars on the road, and that number is continuing to grow, unfortunately. We are working on potential solutions for next updates to our app.

Thanks again, Paul. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I am also having this issue. The app automatically enters a price for the grade of fuel I select even though the price is inaccurate. It would be helpful if a user could simply override the price at the time of entry. As it stands now, I had to save the entry and then go back in and edit it in order to enter the correct price. This is inconvenient, to say the least. It appears that this has been an issue for at least a year. Can we expect a fix sometime soon? Thank you.

Original post was about the older product and is unrelated to this question.
