Any update on this? Mine doesn't beep or show on timeline. Just got it today.

Hi jamiedhouse. Welcome! I see that you successfully got through Setup. Trips will start showing up on the timeline after you complete them. Are you seeing them there now?

When you say it's not beeping, are you accelerating quickly, braking hard or driving over 70 MPH? If so yet you aren't hearing beeps, did you enable the efficiency coaching after setting up? You'll find those options under "Audio Feedback" on your settings screen.

To learn about what all you can do with Automatic, please check out this FAQ.

The timeline is working fine for showing trips, but the hard braking and hard acceleration alerts are not. I have all three alerts enabled, but no beeps and it says I didn't have any during my trip. However, I purposefully accelerated and braked very fast/hard multiple times to test it. Nothing.

Ok, thanks for the additional info, Jamie. I'll have to ask Tech Support to take a look.

Hi Jamie,

Tech Support doesn't see anything in your logs that indicates an issue at this point. They say to give it the weekend and let us know next week if you've still never triggered any hard events. One thing to try is to take a drive on the freeway and drive over 70MPH, with your speed alert set to 70MPH. You should definitely hear the speed alert at that point and you should see a drop in your Drive Score.

Let us know how it goes!

Thank you for looking into it. I will report back next week.

Hi Amy, The speed alert did work over the weekend. Still haven't heard the speed and braking alerts despite my efforts. I have a 2015 Ford F-150, which reports several stats and Automatic seems to be a couple gallons off in the mpg for each trip from what the truck states and about 120 miles off for miles to empty.

Thanks for the update, Jamie. I'm going to have to pull in the big guns and have tech support help me out here. :)

The irony is that most posts in our community about acceleration and braking alerts are people complaining that they're too sensitive. ;)

Ok, I chatted with our Senior Automotive Engineer, Ian, who took a look at your data for me. He said that the fastest he sees you accelerating is 5 MPH in one second. To trigger the alert, the adapter needs to read a velocity change of ~7 MPH in one second. So you're close, just not quite enough of a led foot. ;)

However, if you want to keep testing this (somewhere safe, of course :) and are sure you should've triggered it, keep track of the date & time and let me know. We can then check your logs for that exact moment and see if there's something else going on there.
