OBD connection failure

I've purchased the OBD Fusion app (as listed in the Automatic App as compatible) but cannot get it to connect. I'm following all instructions, and opening the OBD app (in the car, engine running, bluetooth on) takes me to an Automatic browser prompt to authorize. After authorization is confirmed the OBS app shows 'connecting' but then 'connection failure, unable to connect to the Automatic adapter'. I've tried multiple times.

How should i proceed?

Thanks!

Do you see the Automatic Adapter as being connected in your Bluetooth Settings pane on your phone? Your phone should discover it, but you would still have to authorize the connection.

Yes I do see the adapter connected. The only issue is the OBD app connecting to the Automatic adapter.

I'm having the same exact problem. Did this ever get resolved?
