This could tie in to https://community.automatic.com/automatic/topics/add-fill-ups-in-the-web-interface, but it could be independent as well.

If I try to enter a fillup a while (or a distance) after it happened, it can be painful to find and select the gas station. Think fill-up in San Francisco but get around to entering it when you're in San Jose. Or in my case last month, fill-up in Lost Hills and enter in Paso Robles.

If there was a way to zoom in by address or zip code (or even phone number, which is often on the receipt) to select, either on the web or in the app or (preferably) both, it'd be easier to keep things updated. Especially if the iOS and Android apps have different behavior on fillups (as they did a couple of weeks ago as noted at https://community.automatic.com/automatic/topics/-error-saving-fill-up-message-is-it-temporary).

Hi, Robert. So zooming out and moving around on the map and then zooming back in isn't working to accomplish this?

It works somewhat, depending on how close the gas station is to my current location, and how well I know the area.

For most of the Bay Area I know landmarks (freeways, water) well enough to figure out where I was. But in the example above (Lost Hills truck stop along I-5 vs Paso Robles) I had to pull up a map on my iPad to figure out what I was looking for. If I could have entered 93249 it would've reduced the difficulty greatly. Or if I'd been able to view the map on my laptop or desktop later, rather than on even a 5" device. :)

Got it. I can see that as a useful enhancement. Thanks for the further explanation.

it would also be great if you could save favorite gas stations. that way, you could just select your usual fill up spot from a favorite station list and not have to search.

I'd love to be able to save the stations in most likely to use!
