Add an option to PIN protect the App. I don't like the idea of people being able to open the app and get a detailed report of every location I've been to, and when I was there.

Would pin locking your phone help?

No, which is why there are various apps that allow you to PIN lock them :)

Plus, it allows you not to use a PIN to unlock your phone, but still protect certain areas of your phone.

Authy, Dropbox, SigFig, Evernote, 1Password...just a quick glance at my apps that offer PIN unlock.

Not a deal breaker feature for me, but perhaps for some.

I'm just curious why a phone lock wouldn't help? I know there's a lot of apps that offer an app lock but if the entire phone was locked, wouldn't that work just as well? Or is it just a personal preference thing that a user might not want to lock the phone and only the specific apps?

Brandon is correct. Locking the phone or iPAD itself can present a problem in some instances - depending on the version of iOS. The iPAD will actually temporarily deny access to the whole device for several minutes if multiple errors are made trying to unlock the device. However, if the app is "keyed", you can fat-finger the PIN code on that app and still not affect functionality of the whole device.
