Pro app unable to connect to pro device to set up new vehicle

We traded in our vehicle that had the Automatic Pro on it for a 2018 Hyundai Tuscon Value Package, the adapter will power up and report, thinking its still on the camry, but when I try to add another vehicle and the app tried to communicate with the Pro adapter, it times out saying it was unable to connect to the device. any ideas? thanks!
