Reading on battery versus on fuel ('18 Chrysler Pacifica)

I have a Pacifica hybrid (which is supported per the Automatic compatibility page) and I'm seeing some strange behavior. While running on battery the engine codes are being displayed correctly but when we switch over to the gas engine the device seems to start acting strange (reading no codes or seemingly random codes).

Is the engine code function not fully supported on these vehicles? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Rich,

Unfortunately that is an unsupported vehicle, which is why you're running into the errors. We are very sorry for the oversight and are working on updating the Car Compatibility page. It should be done shortly.

Thanks Derrick / really appreciate the quick response. Also one quick question for you re: your comment hereĀ https://community.automatic.com/automatic/topics/electric-car-beta-grpoup-needed-80k4vt0wcdnc7?topic...

Have you ever seen it work the other way around, i.e. only reading correctly on battery?
