My Dad is driven to the Doctor's office, Barber shop, etc. by a caretaker that we pay by the hour. But my Dad does not have a cell phone. Can I track his trips via my iPhone even though I'm not near his car?

Yes, you can do this with Automatic Pro adapter. You'd need your supported iPhone (or Android) to set it up in his car initially and then as long as the adapter stays plugged into the car and he's driving in areas with cellular coverage, you'll see the trips in real-time in the app on your phone, you'll get notifications every time a trip starts and ends and you'll see where the car is parked any time it's not being driven.

Here are some handy FAQs to check out first:

Is my car supported?

What devices are compatible with Automatic and where can I download the app?

What is “Automatic Pro”?

How does Crash Alert with cellular work in Automatic Pro? Does it need my phone?

What happens if there is no cellular coverage while using Automatic Pro?
