I use an Automatic adapter (version 2). Use it with my Galaxy S7 Edge and I have a Samsung Gear S2 smart watch. Since I know you guys support Apple's and Pebble's watch I was wondering if you guys will also support Samsung's smartwatch?

Thank you!

I mean, it would be a great addition to your product

Pebble support is only for the original (no longer to be used) app. Automatic doesn't work with the latest app or versions of the watches.

The Gear S2 uses Samsung's own mobile operating system, right? With the way things are going in the smartwatch community I don't think many devs are actively creating things for Samsung. It's more likely Android Wear will see more action since the majority of Android based smartwatches run Android Wear.

Thanks for the interest in that, Leo. Chris is probably right, though. At this point, there are no plans that I know of to develop for the Samsung watch. Though, with our open API & dev platform, I wonder if that's something that could be done by a 3rd party?

I'd like to bump this but for the S3. I too had a Pebble and the watch app was great. 3rd party or in-house, I don't care. Can we get some interest here?

Hi JoAnna,

We don't have any plans to develop an app for the S3, unfortnately, so it would have to be 3rd party.
