Automatic App shows my fuel level but when I ask Alexa all I get is that my car doesn't support reading fuel level. Even when I ask how's my driving it says the same thing.

When I first installed the device and the App I experienced the same issues. Tech support had me remove the device, then delete the App, then reinstall everything. That seemed to fix the problem. It's only a 10 minute job so it may be worth it.

Others who come across this thread, John's suggestion did the trick for Ezbon and is worth a try!

Thanks for pitching in on this, John! Ezbon, let us know if that worked. In the meantime, I've also asked Tech Support to take a look.

Hi, Ezbon. Tech Support isn't sure what's going on. They say you're properly set up on the Automatic adapter and they see that your car is reporting fuel level in the app. Are the other Automatic / Alexa features working?

Ok, great. I wonder how many folks run into that with Alexa? I just set up my Alexa app with my Automatic account today (I've been too busy to do it! :) and will see how it does!

Again, John, thanks so much for pitching in here and solving the problem for Ezbon! That's what community support is all about!

Just installed Automatic Pro on a 2008 Corvette and having the same problem with Alexa. Haven't gone for a drive yet. Hoping that will resolve it

Hi Ed. Were you using Gen 2 on your car previously and did it report fuel level? Not all cars do.

No, Pro is the first I'm using. When I checked the compatibility page, it showed the 2008 Corvette as being compatible. Are you saying my car will not show fuel level? I see the Pro has its own version of the app and it doesn't show it there also. Also, I drove around for about 15 minutes, yet it showed I was still parked. Are there any other Corvette using the Pro?

I suppose it took a bit more driving. Alexa and Automatic Pro are now happily speaking to each other

Just installed Automatic Pro yesterday. Put in fuel purchase . Alexa says "it is not supported" to report fuel level. I have a Lexus RX360. Thanks

Thanks, Ashok!

Craig - my guess is that you either need to give it a few days OR, as my response that Ashok linked explains, your car doesn't support the fuel level feature which requires your car to report fuel level via the OBD-II port. What year is your Lexus? We may be able to figure out whether or not it has that capability.

Hi Craig. Sorry to report that your car doesn't report fuel level via the OBD port so the Alexa fuel level feature won't work for you. Apparently, this is the case for most Toyotas / Lexus'.
