Why is the current speed not shown in the live view? Without this feature this is almost useless for me. I bought this to help watch my teen driver. The max speed is set to 70mph and that does no good for city driving, it should at least be set to current posted road speeds if not actual. Also, there is no way to tell if the Automatic Pro has been disconnected and reconnected.. this is a must.. I know it is possible because some of the other units I have researched show it is..

Speed tracking and reporting is not currently a feature of Automatic Pro. It's a new product that is still evolving. You can feel free to vote and chime in on this feature in this "Idea" post from another customer.

The 70 MPH speed threshold is a feature of our Gen 1 & Gen 2 adapters as well as our License+ product, which is our teen driving tool. You can still review previous trips in the Web Dashboard to see if 70MPH was exceeded for any given trip. The purpose of that particular speed threshold was built for our original product and was for fuel efficiency coaching and doesn't distinguish between city streets or highway driving.

Hi Amy,

I would like to second Bills request.  I too have 2 teenagers driving and the ability to see their speed in neighborhoods, and on highways, live and in the log, would be a very worthwhile feature of this application.  The data is there.  We should be able to capture that.  Are there any third party apps that would capture this information, like the IFTTT which records trip data to a spreadsheet?

Hi Bill. There's currently nothing that displays that data.
