First, please make sure you're using it with a compatible phone and that you're looking at the Automatic app and not the Bluetooth menu on your phone. If those aren't your issues, then please try restarting Bluetooth and/or restarting your phone. You may also want to try to turn off Bluetooth on nearby devices, unplug the adapter, restart the setup process and only plug the adapter back in when prompted.
