Randomly (or seemingly so) my adapter beeps three times, why? I have all audio alerts switched off.

Hey Jim and Sean,

The alert you are hearing is a connection alert. This will come on when the adapter connects to your phone, but there is also a tone if it fails or loses connections during a trip.

If you'd like to turn this alert off, go into the Automatic app settings and turn off the alerts for Connection Alerts.

I hope this helps :)

In the app it says connection tone not supported.

Hey Jim,

Thanks for getting back and sorry for that. After further investigation, It looks like you are on a first generation Automatic which currently doesn't support turning off connection alerts. It is something we are looking to add in an upcoming update to the app.

Could you let us know where you are hearing the alert? Is it at the very beginning or midtrip? If it is midtrip, have you experienced any incomplete trips with Automatic?

Midtrip. I have not noticed any incomplete trips. I'll make a note next time it happens and when I get home I'll take a look at the trip.
