Just the addresses are shown in the web dashboard - I named a lot of these locations in the app. It would be nice if this was reflected in the Web Dashboard.

Then a filter would be nice.

We agree ericd :) Although the web dashboard does not support custom labels at this time, we're planning to add support in the future. Here's a link to the related FAQ.

Custom labels and notes for dashboard..

Can we enter custom notes for trips in dashboard so we can describe trip info for tax reasons with purpose for the trip etc?

Thanks for the idea, WD3Co. I merged your idea with a related idea on importing custom labels from the app into the web dashboard. We don’t support this functionality at the moment, but we’re planning on it.

The ability to add notes would be a great addition as well. You could export your trip data into a .CSV file and then add notes after the fact. See this FAQ for more details on the export feature.

When this is implemented will we be able to add a filter that includes "Labeled" and then type in or pull down our custom names and see only trips to, say "Client A"? Additionally, if you added filters FROM Labels and TO Labels and NOT  we could be more precise in our expense reports.

Thanks for chiming in Chris. That would be a great addition to the feature. I'll pass your message along to the web dashboard team.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Tags on iPhone not showing up on web browser dashboard or on export.

Hi! I've been tagging my locations with the iPhone app via the edit button next to each destination. (i.e. "Home", "Work", "Parents House" etc...) Those "tags" aren't showing up on the web browser dashboard or on the export. Thanks!

Thanks for your post, Tyler! This is something we're planning to add in a future update to the web dashboard. Check out the above posts for more details.

Once this functionality is implemented, we'll be sure to update this topic.

Has anyone been able to export the iOS customized logs

Hi eliotf! Welcome to the community. At this time, the dashboard doesn't support custom labels so they won't show up in the .CSV export file obtained from the web dashboard. We do plan to add this functionality in the future though.

Any updates to this? It was actually one of the only reasons I got Automatic (to help expense trips), yet my company requires names vs addresses.

Hi Eliav,

Thanks for getting in touch. There currently isn't an ETA for the implementation of this feature, but it is something that we plan to do down the road. Planned features mean they are something we'd definitely like to do and will when we have the resources available and the feature fits into the current product.

In the meantime, I would recommend using an IFTTT recipe if that is possible for your reporting process. Here is a good one. Using this recipe, you will be able to load your trips into a Google Doc and be able to customize the fields in the spreadsheet from an address to a name instead.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Custom Address Label/Tag.

I usually modify the address section in my phone's app after a trip to include the name of the client/location -- this has 2 advantages: 1. it helps me remember later why I drove to a particular location. 2. For clients/locations I visit frequently, the app automatically includes the new label on the next trip. VERY HELPFUL! However, I just realized that when I log into my account to download the trips, my "custom address label" does not appear, but only the address. Is there a way to transmit the "custom address label" from the phone's app to my account? If not, can you please create this valuable function?

Thanks for the feedback, Avi. It's something I know we'd like to do but I'm not sure when the product team will schedule it.
