Web Dashboard is displaying erroneous trips. It seems to be blending trips from one automatic to another automatic on the same account (Different vehicles, different phones). It also has some "unknown address" trips on the other side of the country.

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing.

Are both cars being driven by different people (and sometimes at the same time)? If so, does each driver have their own Automatic account or are both users logged into and sharing one account?

Driven by different people, different phones, v1 adapter in one vehicle, v2 adapter in the other, shared account, driving at the same time.

Thanks for getting back.

The issue is likely due to both drivers using the same account. Each driver should have their own Automatic account so that when both cars are driven at the same, there are not any issues with trip capture. Since both cars are, at times, being driven at the same time, it is difficult for the system to identify that the same driver is in two different cars at the same exact time. For more information on multi-user, please visit this FAQ.

Here is the important part of that FAQ:

"If you share an account with another person, have multiple adapters installed in multiple cars, and both of you drive at the same time (in separate cars), you will experience trip capture and connectivity problems. For this reason, we recommend that each driver have his/her own Automatic account in this configuration."

For these reasons, it would be best that both drivers have their own account. If you do move forward with this action, please let us know if the issue persists.

I hope this helps.
