If a household has more than one student, they can all be on the License+ program and share the same car, but each student will need their own separate Automatic account. However, each time a student drives the shared car, that student will need to ensure that they are connected to the adapter (via Bluetooth) so the data can transfer to their Automatic account. If the student is not connected, the adapter will cache/store the data, and whoever connects next will capture those trips on their account.

If the students complete a trip together, make sure that the passenger turns Bluetooth off on their phone before they get in the car. This will prevent the trip from being incorrectly captured to the passenger's account. This FAQ has more information about how multi-user functionality works with Automatic

For what to do if a License+ user and non-License+ users share a car, see this FAQ.
