We’ve improved how you’re warned when driving too fast. To customize the high speed feedback threshold, you’ll first need to visit the User Settings menu. From here, tap on “Audio Feedback,” then “High Speeds,” and finally “Feedback Threshold.” Use the slider on this screen to set your custom speed alert, ranging anywhere from 55 to 90 MPH.

After you set this custom alert, you'll only hear the chirp once when you initially cross the threshold, and it won’t repeat for the rest of the trip unless you dip below your limit for several seconds and cross it again.

Keep in mind that for now your drive score is still impacted by how much time you spend over 70 MPH, regardless of your custom speed threshold. The reason why it's set at 70 MPH is because the drive score currently measures behaviors that impact fuel efficiency, and driving at speeds higher than this have a big impact on fuel consumption. Check out this blog post for more details.

iOS Users: Please note that this feature requires firmware version (0.9.7) or newer. Once you download v2.0 of the app, you’ll need to connect to your adapter and complete a trip before the feedback threshold will appear under the “High Speeds” menu.

Android Users: Please note that this feature requires firmware version (0.8.64) or newer. Once you download v1.1 of the app, you'll need to connect to your adapter and complete a trip before the feedback threshold will appear under the "Speeding" menu.
