This feature has been discontinued. For the update on Ford SYNC with Siri, please read this post.

If you have already gone through the setup process and are subsequently having problems with Ford SYNC, please check the following settings on your phone:

  1. Tap on the Settings icon and navigate to General → Siri and ensure that “Siri” is toggled on.
  2. Tap on the Settings icon and navigate to “Touch ID & Passcode” to ensure that “Siri” is toggled on in the “Allow Access When Locked” section.
  3. Tap on the Settings icon and navigate to “Bluetooth” to ensure that Automatic, Siri through SYNC, and SYNC all appear under the “Other Devices” section. If any of these devices are missing from this screen, we recommend that you go through the setup process again. You can do so by toggling the feature off and then back on again from Settings → Your Ford Vehicle → Ford SYNC.
If you’re still experiencing problems after checking the settings described above, please email our tech support team a message at help@automatic.com.

Important Note: The Ford Siri through SYNC feature is only compatible with 1st generation adapters at this time.
