Yes, you can zoom into route maps on the app (2.7+ iOS / 1.7+ Android) or on the web dashboard. To zoom in on a route map within the app, first tap on the trip you would like to review. A new screen will load, displaying driving stats and a small map panel. From this screen, tap anywhere on the map to expand it to full screen view. From here, you can zoom in and zoom out of the map as desired.

Important note: The Automatic app with the 1st Gen adapter uses your phone's GPS to determine trip routes. It's possible to do this very accurately, but it requires leaving GPS on continuously which quickly drains your phone's battery. To prevent this, the app collects location points only every so often. Additionally, raw GPS points can be very noisy and sometimes would place you in the middle of a building, ocean, or instantly teleporting over to the next block.  So Automatic processes the raw GPS after a trip into what we determine is the most sane and likely route. As a result, the route shown in the trip timeline may not always be 100% accurate.

The Automatic app with the 2nd Gen adapter uses a combination of the GPS in the adapter and the GPS from your phone.

The Automatic Pro primarily uses the GPS from the adapter but will also enhance that with GPS from your phone if it's in the car and connected via Bluetooth to the adapter.
